{introduction}
The "Ride" theme song plays at the beginning of the show. As it plays, various clips of matches past and present in the CNWF² are shown. This continues for about a minute and a half before the intro ends.
{cut to shot of the 'Ride' set panning to the commentary table}
Afterwards, the set for 'Ride' can be seen. It appears to be an elegantly furnished room with leather seats and a commentary table with a gold trim, behind which is a huge projection screen television embedded into the wall. Sitting at the table is "Slick" Nicholas Chase and Horrace Nelson.
{commentary}
Horrace Nelson: Hello everyone, and once again, welcome to Ride on this fine Sunday afternoon.
Nicholas Chase: I wouldn't exactly call it a fine day...
Horrace Nelson: Well, it's as good as it gets for this time of year, so get over it.
Nicholas Chase: "As Good as it Gets"... Frenchie Parker's favorite film. Go figure...
Horrace Nelson: Yeah... well, anyway we have a heck of a show up ahead for this Ride in which we will be seeing some clips of matches you can't see anywhere else on basic cable along with a big match between CAIN and The Evil Lord Pelius that happened just a few days ago... what a spectacular matchup between two fine athletes in the CNWF Squared.
Nicholas Chase: Sure, Horrace. I have to say that in that match, for a muscle bound freak like Pelius, I was surprised at how well he has his wrestling down. Most guys his size go for power.
Horrace Nelson: It shouldn't have been much of a surprise... Pelius has been here since last year, though he quit for about four months during which Pelius of Clamorus wrestled in his stead.
Nicholas Chase: You sure that wasn't Evil Lord Pelius in disguise?
Horrace Nelson: Well, if it was, I'd sure like to know who it was that confronted Pelius of Clamorus on the last Danger Zone we had in February.
Nicholas Chase: I know... just bringing it to public attention... that's all.
Horrace Nelson: Sure, Slick. Anyway, the Evil Lord Pelius had some comments for us, so let's get right to them.
{Ride set}
Slick Nicholas turn to face the large projection screen as the camera begins zooming up on it.
{cut}
[The Evil Lord Pelius stands before black wall emblazoned with the Burning Red Eye symbol. He is dressed in his red cloak, breeches, and vest, a grey silk shirt with long sleeves, and black boots that reach to his knees. The silver shoulder shield with the gothic-lettered "P" and the silver-and-ruby dragon-brooch that he flaunts are chained with links of black iron from his left shoulder to the center of his chest.
Without further preamble, the Red Knight of the Fire Dragon speaks.]
The Evil Lord Pelius: This is a night of reckoning. For over a year I have been plagued by a man who claims to all that he is my superior, yet has always vanished before I could prove him otherwise. Tonight, there shall not be anywhere in which to hide, for the power of the Evil Lord Pelius shall no longer be mocked . . . .
. . . . by CAIN!
[The knight's eyes glow red for a long moment, reflecting his frustration and anger.]
CAIN, you are an insufferable fool to so suddenly disregard me as you have. After all of these accusations and insinuations, the lies and blatant misconceptions, you have decided that there is no more for you to say about my character and the supposed wrongs which I have done unto you. In turning your attention beyond the Dragon, who before you stands ready to strike, and toward the Griffin, which is awaiting his chance to rend your flesh, you shall find yourself unexpectedly flung to your face and pinioned by might against which you cannot possibly resist.
Your chance to gain glory within the Second Federation of CyberNetic Wrestling shall end at my hands upon this night, CAIN. There is no escape this time!
[The Evil Lord Pelius pauses for a moment.]
The Evil Lord Pelius: As for my silent adversary -- the Mangler -- you are hardly worth my words. When you witness the violence with which I will defeat CAIN, I am certain that you shall become more silent than before -- if that can be possible. Continue to quiver in terror at my coming, for all of your worst fears are to be realized upon Tuesday night!
I wish also to acknowledge the return of the Assassin to this league. He has proven to be my truest ally through all of this time and I wish for our camaraderie to continue into this newest age of the Squared CNWF.
Death before Dishonor!
[The tone of the Evil Lord Pelius becomes cold and threatening. His eyes, of course, glow red with rage.]
And destruction to ALL of my enemies!
[The view is engulfed in red flames . . . .]
{cut to Ride set}
Horrace Nelson and Slick Nicholas turn back away from the monitor to face the desk they are sitting at.
{commentary}
Nicholas Chase: The Evil Lord Pelius, at it once again. It's great to see him back after the way Lex Victor gave him the screwjob against Akai Daragon.
Horrace Nelson: Well, that's a good setup line for our first line of news today.
Nicholas Chase: Exactly. Akai Daragon. [clearing his throat] Recently, the president of the CyberNetic Wrestling Federation Squared deemed for a fact that Akai Daragon will never be allowed into the federation again. This all started over six months ago back when Glen Lothar took the reigns of the CNWF Squared. During his reign, Lothar attempted to end the career of former World Champion, Beantown Bully due to a heated argument they got into back stage after Bully's first match with another former World Champion, Kain Piller. Lothar was expediently removed from office. Later, Akai Daragon was linked to the incident and he was banned from entering the federation at the time. Lex Victor was later negotiating bringing Daragon back in under a probationary contract... but negotiations went sour and now Daragon is hereby banned from ever competing in the CNWF Squared ever again.
Next time there's a boring news bit like this... you get it, Horrace!
Horrace Nelson: That's actually an important bit of news, Slick!
Nicholas Chase: Maybe... but I like controversy... not a done deal. Anyway, what I'd like to know is why Evil Lord Pelius keeps on referring to this federation as "The Second Federation of CyberNetic Wrestling". Doesn't he know that's incorrect?
Horrace Nelson: It's just his way of saying it. Besides, he sometimes calls it the "Squared Federation of CyberNetic Wrestling". Haven't you noticed?
Nicholas Chase: No... no. That isn't what I'm talking about! See, the wrestling here isn't "CyberNetic". It's the _federation_ which is "CyberNetic"! The proper way to say it if you're going to say it any other way than normal is "Squared Cybernetic Federation of Wrestling".
Horrace Nelson: Oh my...
Nicholas Chase: It's true! How the great have falen! Praise the Slick-meister!
Horrace Nelson: And how much bookworming did you do to find that out anyway?
Slick Nicholas: Well...
Horrace Nelson: Nevermind. Let's go over the clips of Tommy Craven facing Throw.
Slick Nicholas: He wants to be known as "The Throw" now.
Horrace Nelson: Okay...
{Ride set}
Nicholas and Nelson both turn around in their seats in almost perfect unison to face the monitor which is starting to come to life with action of Tommy Craven and Throw.
Tommy Craven vs The Throw
6'-3", 256 lbs 6'-8", 385 lbs
(One Fall Singles Match)

{cut to shot of the match}
The Throw has just hip tossed Craven to the canvas. Craven gets back up only to be thrown against the ropes, lifted high into the air by a gorilla press, then thrown to the canvas once again.
{commentary}
Larry "The Disco": Hey man, that was one cool move, dude!
Frenchie Parker: Ya know it, Larry! This Throw looks like one heck of an up and coming star!
Larry "The Disco": Yeah... but he's no living legend wrestler yet. I'm the only living legend in this sport today, man! There are other living legends but there's only one living legend and that living legend is the "Living Legend" Larry "The Disco".
Frenchie Parker: I always thought you were known as "Leisure Suit" Larry at one time, ya know?
Larry "The Disco": You're mistaken, man!
{flash to later shot of the match}
The Throw is attempting a hip tos once again on the muscular Tommy Craven, but Craven blocks. Throw attempts once again, but finds himself blocked by Craven once again. Instead, Craven ties up Throw into a Russian leg sweep and sends the fat man to the canvas. The crowd does not seem to be very interested in this match.
{commentary}
Frenchie Parker: I think that trenchcoat that "The Throw" insists on wearing at all times isn't doing him a lot of good.
Larry "The Disco": Personally, man, I think it has something to do with that white face paint with black highlights!
Frenchie Parker: You really think that Halloween paint is causing him problems?
Larry "The Disco": Yeah, man! Who does he think he is anyway? The Crawdad? Didn't they make a movie of "The Crawdad" where he was a spirit avenging people or something? What a ripoff?
Frenchie Parker: Oh my! German Suplex by Craven! This could be it!
Larry "The Disco": One! Two! Three! Oh my! He beat "The Throw"! He beat "The Throw"!
Frenchie Parker: You really get worked up over these less than passable matches, huh Larry?
Larry "The Disco": What are you talking about? Match of the year material right here?
Frenchie Parker: Sure, Larry...

{cut to shot of the Ride set}
Once again, Slick and Horrace turn back around to face the cameras.
{commentary}
Nicholas Chase: I don't envy Parker a whole lot having to put up with Larry "The Disco" on that show! I know why the CNWF² won't bother to syndicate it now.
Horrace Nelson: This is why Ride is liked so much... we tell it like it is.
Nicholas Chase: No Horrace... _I_ tell it like it is. You're just along for the ride... ooh! Got ya there!
Horrace Nelson: Okay... okay. This is a competetive sport. You win. Anyway, we have some more interesting news for you. It looked as if at the end of last month that Kain Piller had called it quits in the wrestling industry for good. Word has it that though he is still a relatively young competitor that he has taken a lot of punishment for a man his size and a permanent retirement from wrestling was probably going to be the only way that he would be able to recover. Well, either we were wrong...
Nicholas Chase: ...or this man's a nut case!
Horrace Nelson: Well, whatever you want to call it, Piller is back with the CNWF Squared. It is uncertain whether or not he will wrestle for other organizations, but he is back here after a hard loss to Jason Agony in Randal Lessard's World Wrestling Organization. That was to be Piller's last match in wrestling ever and marked only his fifth or sixth loss in his wrestling career.
Nicholas Chase: I think that was number seven.
Horrace Nelson: Either way, he doesn't lose a lot. But only a few days after that Agonizing loss, he is back in wrestling and who knows what kind of havoc this near eight foot wonder will cause now!
Nicholas Chase: You can bet he's going to be after Agony. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that's the whole reason he came back. He wants to prove he can beat Jason Agony once and for all... and if all goes well for Agony, that could be for the World title if he beats Donovan this Monday night!
Horrace Nelson: This is definitely going to be one heck of a week in the CyberNetic Wrestling Federation Squared! Now it's time for our next match, the Rabbi facing off with Wind Whisper.
{Ride set}
Nicholas and Nelson both turn around in their seats in almost perfect unison to face the monitor which is starting to come to life with action of Tommy Craven and Throw.
The Rabbi vs Wind Whisper
6'-3", 256 lbs 6'-8", 385 lbs

{cut to shot of the match}
Wind Whisper has just executed a high martial arts kick aimed at Rabbi's head, but Rabbi blocks that and throws him to the canvas. He then grabs Wind Whisper by the head and starts pummeling him while he's down.
{commentary}
Keith Porter: This is one tough rabbi!
Michael Richardson: He's "The Rabbi", Keith... and for some reason I'm glad I don't have to observe the passover with him having anything to do with it!
Keith Porter: Yeah. You eat one candy bar... and you'll be eating your own teeth after the Rabbi gets done with you!
{flash to later shot of the match}
Wind Whisper flies off the top rope and hits Rabbi with a majestic flying body press, but Rabbi rolls over and ends up on top of Whisper for the cover. However, he only gets a two count.
{commentary}
Keith Porter: That was a tremendous move by Wind Whisper! I didn't think Rabbi would be able to turn it over like that.
Michael Richardson: If Whisper would have been able to hold on, maybe things would be going a bit different right now, but this Rabbi guy is a tough competitor.
Keith Porter: Rabbi has Whisper up now... clothesline to the martial artist!
Michael Richardson: He'll feel that in the morning!
{flash to later shot of the match}
Whisper whips the Rabbi to the ropes, then sets him up for a back body drop. Rabbi, however, stops before it would connect, then hits Whisper with a reverse neckbreaker.
{commentary}
Michael Richardson: That was the "Airne" Neckbreaker! What a move! That should do it!
Keith Porter: He's going for the cover! One! Two! Three! It's all over!

{cut to shot of the Ride set}
Slick and Horrace swing back around in their chairs to face the camera.
{commentary}
Horrace Nelson: An impressive debut by the Rabbi.
Nicholas Chase: The Rabbi looks like he's here to really have an impact here in the CNWF Squared. I say the other superstars should really watch out for this guy.
Horrace Nelson: I think you're right. We'll have to see later on when he takes on some bigger and tougher contenders. We'll find out if he's really as good as he looks.
Nicholas Chase: It looks to me like he can brawl with the best of them. I think Wind Whisper is a sixth degree black belt!
Horrace Nelson: Karate skill never seems to help out wrestlers very much. Anyway, we have a commercial break coming up. When we come back, there's more news and matches on the way! Slick, I have to say this new Ride format actually makes this a credible show. There isn't a weak link in the CNWF Squared week anymore!
Nicholas Chase: Actually... there is still one weak link.
Horrace Nelson: Oh yeah? And what would that be?
Nicholas Chase: That's you! I still have to talk to Lex about getting me a new commentary partner.
Horrace Nelson: Thanks, Slick. That means a lot to me.
Nicholas Chase: I thought it would. Anyway, we'll be back!
{cut to overhead angled shot of the Ride set}
The "Ride" theme music kicks in once again as the overhead shot shows Slick Nicholas and Horrace Nelson going over papers they have in front of them. The shot and music then abruptly fade out.
